Geoffrey King F.I.P.G. studied at the Central School of Art and Crafts before starting a 5 year apprenticeship with Paton and Co. With over 30 years working in Mayfair and Hatton Garden, he has gained a wide variety of experience in diamond mounting, badge making and creating distinctive objets d’art.
Geoffrey has executed exclusive pieces for all the major jewellers in the London market including Asprey, Cartier, Collingwood, Garrards, Mappin and Webb and David Morris. In April 2001 he created several unique items of jewellery for an exhibition at the Barbican in London, Europe's largest multi-arts and conference venue.

The Institute of Professional Goldsmiths (IPG) was set up to enhance and promote high standards in the Jewellery trade. Its 100 members are hand picked and are the elite of craftsmen in the British Isles.
Geoffrey King has been a fellow of the IPG since 1990 and was elected as a member of the committee in 2002.
